Observation: Dogs dislike cold paws

Yorkie Desmond refuses to go outside to do his business when the weather is cold. The dining room rug is warmer and more convenient.

Quick fix:

Lay an old towel or blanket on the ground from the doorway to the shoveled potty spot.

Result:

Bathroom confusion averted.
